I have read a number of books dedicated to the same topic, mostly English, this would be my second Russian book that writes about “business writing/better text” subject and I have to say that not just this is a good book by itself , I think it’s outplays most of its English counterparts by amount of useful information, simplicity of technique, easy to understand and remember these general rules
Example :) actually happened to me,
my email I just wrote to my new co-manager instantly got better by simply using what author has talked about
There u go, I said
what I have done so far,
what am I working on right now,
and what is my next step gonna be.
Context: this is not the most pleasant email I needed to write and this is a difficult person to work with. Instead of just writing it like I was , this time , I kinda took a conversation in a mutually beneficial direction. I don’t want to see he’s face, all the time. Turns out he doesn’t want to be here all that much either , he shared his opinion about current situation and then he asked me , if it’s ok with me if he ll continue to work oh his old shit, that he got kicked out from ! Amazing lol sorry wrong place to share this , but I do recommend it , oh yeah . By the way , I do do read and understand Russian just alright, however English is my native language, yet I would say I understand this author better in Russian then most of them in English. Good language
